INVITATION TO TAMIR 2010 SPIRIT OF TREES

“I believe in God, only I spell it Nature”- Frank Lloyd Wright

APIED launches its first ever eco friendly TAMIR fest with the motive of spreading awareness among young minds to take up a role and show the world that stepping stones create the grand path towards saving the planet.

Earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from books hence the populace of the institute has come up with a scheme to embed a social message into our annual fest. The most unique initiatives, ones that have never been explored have been taken up by the young ‘to be Architects and Designers’ of the institute to make a change in the rudimentary methods of celebration and social awareness.

The APIED community is making an effort to convey that every creature is better alive than dead, men and moose and pine trees, and he who understands it aright will rather preserve its life than destroy it. Men are creators and destroyers but we are not the makers of nature and have no right to tamper with her pricey possessions. Instead we make a pact to prevent damage and protect her while she assures our survival on her terrain.

If human survival is vital to the earth then saving its resources is equally imperative.

We join our hands with every human who thinks it is a “Now or Never” situation and ready to make a change, create consciousness and clear our debts with Mother Nature.

Mutual living amidst the environment and its inhabitants is inevitable, 2012 is not far away

“God has cared for these trees, saved them from drought, disease, avalanches, and a thousand tempests and floods. But he cannot save them from fools”.
-John Muir

Let us not be fools.

Contributing even in minute amounts is a great input.

Extending a very warm welcome to one and all to visit, participate and contribute to TAMIR 2010- ‘Spirit of trees’- an approach to establish mutual living and understanding between us and the environment!

After all every finger counts!
